Until now the site of one of Scotland's most important battles has been largely overlooked. The Trust believes it is time to put that right and also to tell the true story of the battle and give Andrew de Moray recognition alongside William Wallace as being co-commander of the Scottish army.

We are delighted to have had the generous support of FES who are supplying and installing the lighting free of charge. This alone will be of huge benefit both to the town as a tourist attraction and to increasing interest in the site itself. The main aim of the trust is to make the site a fitting memorial to all those who fell and to tell the story as accurately as we can.

After the ceremony, there will be a fund raising concert in Stirling Rugby Club featuring well known Scottish musicians. Already confirmed are Benny Gallagher (Gallagher & Lyle), Gordon Menzies (Gaberlunzie), Ian Bayne (Runrig), Atholl Fraser (The Raeburn Heights), and Ted Christopher and Bannockburn. Full line up will be released soon. Tickets £30 in advance from fwg@tedchristopher.scot
All proceeds to Guardians of Scotland Trust.
